Thursday night was girl scouts night at the Nutcracker at the Olney Theater. I took Sasha and her friend to the performance. There was eleven girls from her troop at the performance. They were all so excited and made it through the two hour performance. Most of the parents thought we should have made a pact to leave at intermission. After the performance the girls were able to go up on stage and meet some of the dancers. So we all hung in to the end and it was worth it.
The girl who played Claire told the girls she was 12 years old and you can be in the Nutcracker when you are 8.
Hmmm...future Nutcracker cast members in the audience???
